In this lesson, students will learn about the ancient Egyptian beliefs surrounding the afterlife, including the significance of mummification, the journey through the Duat, and the importance of the Book of the Dead. They will also explore how these beliefs influenced Egyptian culture, architecture, and daily life. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research and video watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
