Learning objectives

In this lesson, students will learn about the strategic and tactical brilliance of Alexander the Great during his siege and capture of Tyre in 332 BCE. They will understand the engineering challenges, naval battles, and the broader historical impact of Tyre's fall on Alexander's campaign against the Persian Empire.
