Battle of Cannae Lesson

In this lesson, students will learn about the strategic brilliance of Hannibal during the Battle of Cannae, including his use of innovative tactics to encircle and decimate a larger Roman army. They will also explore the broader context of the Second Punic War, including the challenges faced by Rome and the impact of Hannibal's campaigns on the Roman Republic.
