Legacy of the Crusades Lesson

In this lesson, students will learn about the Crusades' historical significance, focusing on their military, cultural, and political impacts on both Europe and the Middle East. They will explore how these religious wars influenced the development of military orders, the spread of new ideas and technologies, and the long-term consequences for Christian-Muslim relations. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading and research options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
