In this lesson, students will learn about the discovery and significance of Otzi the Iceman, an ancient human preserved in the ice for over 5,300 years. They will explore the circumstances of his discovery, the artifacts found with him, and the scientific analyses that have provided insights into his life and death. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research, and video options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
