In this lesson, students will develop an understanding of the political, social, and military dynamics that led to the formation of the Second Triumvirate, including the motivations of Octavian, Mark Antony, and Lepidus. They will also explore the major actions and policies implemented during this period, including the proscriptions, the division of Roman territories, and the significant battles such as the Battle of Philippi and Actium.
