In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of the events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor, the motivations behind Japan's decision, and the immediate and long-term consequences for both Japan and the United States. Through exploring the strategic mistakes, key figures, and geopolitical context, students will learn how this pivotal event shaped World War II and altered the course of history.
