Learning objectives

In this lesson, students will learn about the origins, motivations, and consequences of British colonialism and imperialism, including how it shaped global history and affected both colonized and colonizing societies. They will also explore the key events, figures, and ideologies that drove the expansion of the British Empire and examine the lasting impact of imperialism on the modern world.
