In this lesson, students will learn about the key causes of the French Revolution, including social inequality, economic struggles, political mismanagement, and the influence of Enlightenment ideas. They will examine how these factors created widespread unrest and led to the events of 1789. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading and research options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
