Learning objectives

In this lesson, students will learn how the French Revolution transformed France from a monarchy to a republic and introduced new ideas of liberty, equality, and fraternity. They will also explore the social, economic, and political factors that fueled the revolution and the lasting impact it had on both France and the world. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading and research options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
