Satsuma Rebellion Lesson

In this lesson, students will learn about the Satsuma Rebellion, a pivotal conflict in late 19th-century Japan that marked the transition from a feudal society to a modern nation. They will explore the causes, key events, and significant consequences of the rebellion, including the end of the samurai class and the consolidation of the Meiji government's power.
