In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of the 1967 Referendum in Australia's civil rights history. They will develop an awareness of the political changes as a result of the right to vote federally in 1962 and the 1967 Referendum. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading and research options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
