Learning objectives

In this lesson, students will learn about Alexander the Great’s early life, his military conquests, and the lasting influence of his empire. They will explore how his education, upbringing, and belief in his destiny drove him to achieve unprecedented success in expanding Greek culture and power across multiple regions. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading and research options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
