Ancient Egyptian Religion and the Afterlife Lesson

In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of religion and afterlife beliefs in Ancient Egypt. They will develop an awareness of the beliefs associated with death, such as belief in an afterlife, and funerary customs, and practices. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, research, and watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
