Learning objectives

In this lesson, students will learn about the key events, figures, and movements that contributed to the abolition of the slave trade and slavery in the British Empire and the United States during the 19th century. They will explore the moral, economic, and social factors that drove the abolitionist efforts and the significant milestones achieved in this historic struggle for human rights and freedom.
